Atlanta has had beautiful weather all day, with temperatures climbing to the expected high of 86 degrees.

But while you probably piled on the sunscreen and wore your shades Friday, you’ll be in a raincoat before you know it.

Though showers are unlikely through the evening commute, rain chances are expected to increase to 30 percent Saturday and 60 percent Sunday.

Temperatures should remain in the 80s through the weekend. Rain is expected to last through Tuesday.

Earlier, a 1.5-magnitude earthquake was reported in Dalton, according to Channel 2 Action News Chief meteorologist Glenn Burns. The impact of the quake was likely insignificant given its size.

The U.S. Geological Survey also confirmed a 2.6-magnitude earthquake near Fort Payne, Ala.

No injuries were reported in either earthquake.

Another earthquake was reported in Alabama roughly two weeks ago, according to news outlets.
