Showers are moving out of the metro Atlanta area.

Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz said storms will taper off by 11 p.m.

Here's Severe Weather Team 2's Brad Nitz with a look at your Tuesday evening forecast.

The wet weather, however, isn’t lowering temperatures.

Current temps are 59 degrees in Atlanta, 54 in Blairsville and 60 in Griffin.

The next chance of rain comes Friday night into Saturday, Nitz said.

Pollen levels more than doubled in 24 hours from 74 to 155 particles of pollen per cubic meter of air Tuesday, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.

Last year’s season high was 4,107 particles of pollen per cubic meter of air, and the pollen count this time last year was 107.

The couple told Artz that they went back into the venue to help clean after packing up the car and that two men driving a dark-colored Kia Sportage stole it all.
