Expect more sun and mild temperatures Friday.
Atlanta is forecast to reach 58 degrees, a near repeat of Thursday’s weather, according to Channel 2 Action News.
It’s currently 45 in Atlanta, which reached a high of 57.
“What a nice day we had today,” Channel 2 Chief meteorologist Glenn Burns said. “We’re going to have another one tomorrow.”

Friday’s weather will be “seasonably cold” in the morning with mostly cloudy skies, Burns said. Morning lows should be in the 30s.
Skies should clear by noon, taking temps into the 50s.
Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.
“You will see some much thicker clouds developing from the south,” Burns said. “That cloud cover will result in some patchy drizzle and light rain late Friday evening.”
Rain is also in the forecast Saturday, when there is a 40 percent chance. Showers will be more widespread in the afternoon, Burns said.
Rain chances increase to 70 percent Sunday, according to Channel 2.
Then, another cold spell is expected in metro Atlanta, where temps are forecast to dip into the 20s at the start of February.
Cold again around the beginning of February with lows in the 20s.
