Atlanta nearly finished the month without a single day in the 90s. But Thursday was the second consecutive day the high hit the 90-degree mark, according to Channel 2 Action News.

It’s “feeling more like July,” Channel 2 meteorologist Katie Walls said.

Griffin and LaGrange hit 90 degrees, while Rome, Calhoun and Eatonton hit 92.

Currently, the temperature is 81 degrees in Atlanta.

A cold front is coming that will make the weather feel more like fall, meteorologist Katie Walls said.

So these summer-like temperatures won’t be around for long. Highs are expected to drop to 85 Friday, 79 Saturday, 75 Sunday and 76 Monday.
