Photos: Conde Nast Traveler readers select the top 10 European cities to visit.

Prague, which ranked ninth in the Conde Nast Traveler poll, earned high marks for ambience and culture.

With crowds of tourists and a college-town atmosphere, Krakow – once the capital of Poland – has become a European hot spot. The city ranked eighth in Conde Nast Traveler's poll.

Budapest, Hungary's largest city, took the No. 7 spot in the poll.

Readers voted Venice, known for its canals and architecture, No. 6 in the poll.

Austria's capital city, known for its music and culture, ranked fifth on the list.

With iconic sites such as the Eiffel Tower, delicious food, music and a romantic atmosphere, it's no surprise that Paris took the No. 4 spot in the Conde Nast Traveler poll.

The Italian capital, known for its rich history, ranked third among Conde Nast Traveler readers.

Antoni Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, or Holy Family Church, is just one of the sites tourists flock to in Barcelona, which ranked second in the poll.

Last but not least, Florence won the top spot in the Conde Nast Traveler poll. The city is known for its history, art and iconic sites, such as Il Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio (pictured).
