United Airlines offers a today-only (12/26) sale to a few spots in California that do not require an advance notice of travel. That means that if the sale seats are available you can take off as soon as this week.
- $148 each way, Orange County-Santa Ana, San Diego or San Jose
- $158 each way, Sacramento
Trips at these rates are permitted any day of the week. There are no blackout dates to avoid. Travel must be completed on or before Nov. 22, 2013.
United serves these destinations with one flight connection in Chicago, Denver or Houston.
Keep in mind that this sale has no ticket-by date which indicates the offer could disappear at anytime. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.
I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel websites such as Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity, etc.
