Special travel deal for ‘Star Wars' fans
The Wyndham Orlando Resort offers Star Wars fans a special rate of $69 per night during the "Star Wars Celebration V" at the Orange County Convention Center in August 2010. Guests can opt to upgrade to a junior suite for $20 more. Star Wars fans will be minutes away from the Convention Center with complimentary transportation provided.
One of the largest Star Wars traditions in the world, this official film event celebrates all things Star Wars on Aug. 12-15.
The festivities at Star Wars Celebration V include costuming workshops, academic discussions, appearances by original cast and crew members, authentic Star Wars artwork and collectibles, special screenings and live entertainment.
The Wyndham Orlando Resort is located near famous Orlando theme parks including Disney World and Universal Studios and is steps from all the attractions on International Drive.
All guests can enjoy perks such as high-speed internet access, a well-equipped Health Club and game room. On-site are romantic lagoons, lush gardens and three pools.
The special rate of $69 is valid on Aug. 9-20 stays, based on single or double occupancy. Children under 18 stay free in the same room as their parents. Each additional adult pays $20 per night.

The final weekend of June 11-13 will host Ray Park (Darth Maul); Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) amd James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Star Wars: The Clone Wars).
This year's celebrity hosts for all both weekends are Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett) and Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka).
