Aloha, Hawaii!

Airfare to the Hawaiian Islands typically average $950, so a today-only offer from American Airlines brings relief to the travel budget.

A rate of $550 round-trip to Honolulu, Oahu is valid on trips completed on or before Dec. 22 — and without worry of any blackout dates (think July 4th or Thanksgiving holidays!). Travel is permitted seven days a week, based on sale seat availability.

Give at least a two-week advance notice of travel. Meet a minimum stay requirement of any three nights and a max permitted stay of 60 days. That’s it.

American serves Honolulu with one stop service via Dallas-Fort Worth.

Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.

I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel websites such as Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity, etc.

Airlines can discontinue or pull a sale price without notice when the offer does not have a “ticket-by” date or when the offer is deemed “sold out.”
