The Seagram Building (center) is the only Van der Rohe designed building in the city and is considered the best example of skyscrapers in the international style. It's on the list of the ten great buildings to see in New York, put together by the Center for Architecture.

Morgan Library & Museum reopened after the Piano's expansion on April 29, 2006. It's located at 33 East 36th Street at Fifth Avenue.

Piano's expansion of the Morgan Library, a 1906 Beaux Arts building designed by McKim, Mead & White, is considered one of his masterpieces.

The expansion by Piano has the glass walls of the pavilion allow visitors to see into the original rooms of the library, creating a unifying link between the old and new.

The Apple Store in the Soho neighborhood has an exterior that has a 1920s stone and brick post office, with the original "STATION A" signage above the entrance. The inside is distinguished by clean, white space and an inviting glass staircase to a glass bridge upstairs.

The Conde Nast Building in Times Square is considered the first green skyscraper.

The location of the Prada New York is 575 Broadway, near Prince Street.

A wave of zebrawood is the centerpiece of Prada's flagship store, in Soho.

The Chrysler Building is a phenomenal example of Art Deco architecture that is both elegant and fun. The completion of the skyscraper in 1930 made it the tallest building in the world at the time.

Art Deco influences are found in the lobby of the Chrysler Building.

Chrysler Building is found on the east side of Manhattan at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue.

The enormous gargoyles are really eagles that were replicas of the 1929 Chrysler hood ornaments. The are located on the corners of th 61st floor.
