A new program, "You Play, We Pay!" is offering visitors to the Pensacola Bay Area an American Express gift card valued at up to $300 for a stay of three days or longer.

"Between now and Sept. 30, we're encouraging visitors to register at VisitPensacola.com, make reservations at the property of their choice, enjoy the Pensacola Bay Area and receive a gift card worth $100 per day for up to three days," said Ed Schroeder, executive director of the Pensacola Bay Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. "It's an unbeatable deal and a great way to finish up the summer with beautiful beaches and clear water."

Stays must be in lodging located in Escambia County and must be completed by Sept. 30. Visitors who book reservations at rental properties and hotels on Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key or on the mainland will be eligible for the gift card if they have first registered with the program on VisitPensacola.com and presented their registration at check-in.

For each night's stay, up to three nights, guests registered for the program will be credited with $100 toward an AMEX gift card. Making reservations directly with the hotel or property of their choice, visitors can present their "You Play, We Pay!" registration, choose to pre-pay their bill and request a printed receipt. The receipt, along with the confirmation page can then be presented to the appropriate visitor information center to claim the gift card. The cards are activated immediately and can be used at the visitor's discretion.

Gift cards are limited to one qualifying party per reservation and must be claimed at the visitors center in the area – Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key or mainland Pensacola – where the visitor is staying. The cards are not redeemable for cash, are good while supplies last and are not available to groups.
