The holiday season brings out shoppers - even the tourists - of all tastes in styles to Carnaby Street in London, where about 170 shops and restaurants line a pedestrian-friendly area that began to reinvent itself around 1997. "I think it's been regenerated," said one shopper on a recent stroll.
