It’s become quite the challenge for budget travelers to find airfare deal to Europe for under $1,000. But travelers who will be flexible on their destination will find that Scandinavia is the place to look for deals.
For a round-trip rate of $975, British Airways offers trips to Oslo, Norway on May 17-Aug. 25 departures. Weekend travel is $40 more in each direction (Friday-Saturday outbound; Friday-Sunday returns).
This is a super deal, but act fast as the offer has no ticket-by date. This indicates that the rate could vanish at anytime.
British Airways serves Oslo with connecting service in London. One stopover in London is permitted providing onward travel begins within 24 hours of arrival. For instance, evening departures from Atlanta arriving into London at 10:30 a.m. (the following day). Spend a day and evening in London and catch an 8:00 a.m. departure for Oslo to qualify for the stopover.

Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.
I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel websites such as Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity, etc.
Airlines can discontinue or pull a sale price without notice when the offer does not have a “ticket-by” date or when the offer is deemed “sold out.”
