Frontier Airlines offers up a pair of airfare bargains that stand out from the competition.

First off is a deal to Salt Lake City, Utah for $158 one-way. This destination used to be priced affordably during every season, but rates as of mid-2013 have soared to to over $500 round-trip.

Frontier’s Salt Lake deal is valid on trips finished on or before March 5 when traveling Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Buy tickets through Feb. 22.

Another of Frontier’s deals (expiring at midnight) is a one-way rate of $148 to Seattle, Wash. on trips finished on or before June 9.

Trips are permitted every day of the week except Sundays. Give a 10-day or more advance notice of travel. Blackout dates apply: March 22-24, 28-31; April 6, 7 and May 23, 24 and 27. Buy tickets through midnight, tonight (2/18).

Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.

I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel websites such as Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity, etc.
