Frank Lloyd Wright houses in western Pennsylvania offer tourists a peek at unique architecture.

Fallingwater, one of the late architect Frank Lloyd Wright's best-known works, hangs over Bear Run waterfall in Big Run, Pa. Another Wright creation, the Duncan House, has been moved from Lisle, Ill. to western Pennsylvania, offering visitors a broad architectural experience. Tours of the two impressive homes, Fallingwater and nearby Kentuck Knob, are available as well as the opportunity for an overnight stay.

Visitors to Fallingwater listen to tour guides as they stand on the concrete terraces. Fallingwater gets more than 120,000 visitors annually.

Large stones highlight the fireplace and living room area of Fallingwater in Big Run, Pa. In December, Angelina Jolie surprised boyfriend Brad Pitt with a visit to the home for his birthday.

Architect Frank Lloyd Wright's creation, the Duncan House, stands on its new location in Acme, Pa. The home is one of only six Wright homes in the United States that are open to overnight guests.

A cathedral ceiling slopes over open space of the living room area in the Duncan House.The house is spacious, bright and would cost about $350,000 today, a big jump from its initial $47,000 price.

Six-sided skylights line the overhangs and set the hexagonal theme of Kentuck Knob, a high-end Usonian home designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright, in Chalk Hill, Pa. Usonian is a term coined by the architect for works aimed at the middle class. The house is seven miles from Fallingwater, another home designed by Wright.
