Package rates start from $654 and include Premium accommodations; four tickets to the Eureka Springs Historical Museum; four tickets to a ghost tour of "America's Most Haunted Hotel"; two one-hour massages in the hotel's New Moon Spa & Salon; four tickets to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge and a self-guided history tour of the hotel, including a souvenir guidebook. Valid on stays through Dec. 28. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance of stay.
- The "Bellingrath Gardens & Home" package from the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa (circa 1847) Point Clear, Ala. includes deluxe accommodations; two one-day tickets to historic Bellingrath Gardens & Home and daily buffet breakfast at rates from $278 per night. Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler named the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa among their best hotels for 2013.
- Mimslyn Inn (circa 1931) of Luray, Va. offers a "Civil War Sesquicentennial" package which includes a self-driving tour of 24 historic sites and battlefields within two hours of the Inn; a packaged lunch prepared for two; a bottle of wine made from grapes grown in vineyards near The New Market Battlefield; dinner for two at Circa '31 with the menus and recipes created from the same foods that were available during the 1860s and a stay in a historic guestroom. Rates from $450 per night.
- On stays through Dec. 31, enjoy the "Breakfast with a Side of History" package at Hacienda del Sol (circa 1929) in Tucson, Az. Included are accommodations with daily breakfast and a guided historic walking tour of the inn at rates from $204 per night.
- A three-night "Historic Experience" package at the French Lick Springs Hotel (circa 1901) in French Lick, Ind. includes a stay in a historic guestroom; a souvenir DVD highlighting French Lick Resort; a Guided Historic Landmarks Walking Tour and a $30 per day breakfast credit. Rates start from $183 per night (rate code is HHA3).
