Here's a trio of fantastic airfare offers -- ideal for cooling off at the waterfront or in the cool Pacific northwest:
- A screaming deal of $97.60 round-trip to Tampa is valid on trips started on or after Aug. 13 and finished on or before Nov. 14. This Delta Air Lines deal is valid on Mondays-Thursdays or Saturdays. Tickets must be purchased today, June 14. Finding space at this rate shouldn't pose too much of a problem. Delta serves Tampa with more than a dozen daily nonstop flights.
- Another round-trip bargain to Miami of $133.60 requires a three-day advance purchase notice. The sale rate is good on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Saturdays on trips finished by July 18. Add another $10 each way for travel on other days of the week. Delta requires a three-night stay when starting trips Sundays-Wednesdays. This offer has no ticket-by date, so act fast on a purchase.
- Round-trip ticket prices s to Portland, Oregon often hover around the $500 mark, but a today-only offer from United Airlines makes a trip much more affordable. A one-way rate of $139.60 ($279.20 round-trip) is offered for trips taken any day of the week (based on sale seat availability) through May 11, 2013. Give at least a two week advance notice of travel. This sale rate has no blackout dates -- a huge bonus for holiday and peak seasonal dates. United serves Portland with connecting service through Chicago, Denver or Houston.
Sale airfares are always subject to change. Every seat on every flight is not offered at the lowest rate. Since only a limited supply of seats is available, act quickly to make your purchase.
I recommend starting the search for available seats at Kayak.com vs. calling an airline directly. You can also search for the sale at travel websites such as Expedia or Travelocity, etc.
