HomeAway takes bids for SXSW human birdhouse rental

Austin's HomeAway has turned a corner of its office space on 5th Street and Lamar Blvd. into a short-term rental for SXSW Music.

The company is taking bids until March 15 and donating the money to Austin Habitat for Humanity to stay in what it's called the world's largest human birdhouse from March 18-20, during South by Southwest Music.

In the video below from "Statesman Shots," you can see the amenities included.
