Jozsef Papp covers crime and public safety for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, joining the paper in May 2022. Jozsef hopes his stories hold officials accountable and honor the people who have been affected by crimes in the community.
Jozsef graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2018 with a degree in multimedia journalism. Prior to working for the AJC, Jozsef worked as a criminal justice reporter with The Augusta Chronicle. Born and raised in Ecuador until moving to the U.S. in 2009, Jozsef is fluent in English and Spanish.
