New England Patriots running back Sony Michel is getting the most out of his first NFL training camp by watching veteran players and learning from their every move.

In an interview posted by the Patriots’ Twitter account, Michel spoke of his admiration for running back James White and the vibe in the running backs room.

“For me, it’s little details that he’s taught me, but for me personally, I sit back and I try to watch from afar,” Michel said. “I watch everything he (does). How he carries himself, how he practices because he (does) everything the right way and I think he’s a prime example of a Patriot running back and that’s who I watch, that’s who I learn from and there (are) other guys in the room too, but I’m around a great group of guys too.”
