After his arrest on May 29, Tiger Woods announced he is receiving professional help to help manage his back pain and a sleep disorder.

Woods, who has undergone four back surgeries since April 2014, was arrested in Jupiter, Fla. early in the morning on Memorial Day for improper stopping, standing or parking in an illegal place, according to Palm Beach Court Records.

Woods released a statement on Twitter on Monday evening addressing the actions he’s taking to move past his arrest.

“I'm currently receiving professional help to manage my medications and the ways that I deal with back pain and a sleep disorder,” Woods wrote. “I want to thank everyone for the amazing outpouring of support and understanding especially the fans and players on tour."

After his arrest, Woods said alcohol wasn’t involved and he had an unexpected reaction to some medication.
