Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff thinks the 2017 Falcons are his strongest roster in a decade.

Dimitroff, entering his ninth season with the Falcons, spoke about his confidence in the Falcons recently on  "Monday Morning Quarterback" podcast with Albert Breer.

"I think we are at a spot right now that, quite honestly, is the most talented overall... As a whole group, I'm wildly excited about where we are. It's just a well-rounded group,” Dimitroff said to Breer.

Even after the Falcons’ Super Bowl collapse ended the 2016 season on a low note, Dimitroff insists the spirit of the team, coaches and the front office isn’t broken.

"They know that there's talent here. They are excited about the energy in the locker room as well as within our fanbase," Dimitroff said to Breer. "Everyone's really excited. No one is thinking about what if we don't rise to the occasion. This team really believes in itself. They continue to get more and more confidence and swagger."
