- Austin Freeman, 6-4, G, Georgetown: He averages 17.9 points and 3.6 rebounds. He hits an impressive 37.3 percent of his 3-pointers. He was diagnosed with diabetes last year.

- Marcus Morris, 6-9, F, Kansas. The Big 12 player of the year averages 17.3 points and 7.2 rebounds to lead the Jayhawks to its seventh consecutive regular-season conference title. He's been held to single-digits just twice this season.
