Editor’s note: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution opted not to attend the resumption of the MLS season in Orlando amid the COVID-19 pandemic. League safety precautions severely limit the AJC’s in-depth coverage of the Atlanta United. The following report has been compiled from television broadcast and video conference interviews.

In this episode of "Southern Fried Soccer," host Doug Roberson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and guest Jason Longshore of 92.9FM and SoccerDownHere.net discuss Atlanta United's 1-0 loss to New York Red Bulls on Saturday in Orlando in its first game in the MLS tournament. The Five Stripes were beaten by a Florian Valot goal in the fourth minute. A header by Adam Jahn was saved in the final seconds.
