Yogurt brand will ‘no longer work’ with Cam Newton

Dannon, the maker of Oikos Greek Yogurt, will "no longer work" with Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton according to a tweet Thursday.
We’re disheartened by Cam Newton’s behavior, which we perceive as sexist. We shared our concerns with Cam & will no longer work with him.

The company announced its partnership with Newton, a graduate of Westlake High School, in 2015, and the quarterback appeared in ads such as this one:
Bring out your unstoppable side. Have a snack with 15g of protein in every 5.3oz cup.#SB50 pic.twitter.com/yFEQN50S8F

However, Ian Rapoport, a national insider for the NFL Network, tweeted that Newton’s agent denies Dannon’s comments:
Spoke with IMG/WME’s Carlos Fleming, who works with Cam on marketing: “Dannon has not terminated the agreement, nor do they have grounds to”

Cam Newton’s marketing agent Carlos Fleming says Dannon “is still using Cam Newton in advertising.” So, what does this mean? “Ask them.”
