Two quick Atlanta United items:

First, midfielder Gonzalo “Pity” Martinez is fine after receiving a hard tackle in Wednesday’s friendly against the L.A. Galaxy. The tackle in the 15th minute resulted in a yellow card. Martinez was subbed out in the 20th minute.

Martinez was Atlanta United’s key offseason acquisition after he helped lead River Plate to the Copa Libertadores title last year.

Second, the CONCACAF Champions League tournament will be broadcast on the Yahoo Sports app as well as on yahoosports.com. Atlanta United will make its debut in the tournament when it plays Herediano in Costa Rica on Feb. 21. It will host the return leg on Feb. 28 at Kennesaw State.
