STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State has scheduled a special regents meeting as the university considers whether to stay in the Big 12 Conference or leave for the Pacific-10.

The university says the OSU/A&M Board of Regents will meet in Stillwater at 3 p.m. on Wednesday "to discuss matters relating to Oklahoma State University's athletic conference participation."

Pac-10 Commissioner Larry Scott and Deputy Commissioner Kevin Weiberg visited on Saturday with OSU President Burns Hargis and athletic director Mike Holder.

University of Oklahoma regents also will hold a special meeting Wednesday to talk about conference affiliation. Texas and Texas Tech are holding similar meetings on Tuesday.
