Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens says running back Nick Chubb can call the offensive plays in Sunday’s NFL game if Georgia beats Alabama in the SEC Championship game a day earlier.

It remains to be seen if the assistant coach will follow through with that if the Bulldogs pull off an upset over the No. 1 Crimson Tide in Saturday’s game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Kitchens played at Alabama and Chubb carried the football for Georgia. The Browns play the Texans Sunday in Houston.

Chubb told the NFL Network about the supposed arrangement.

"That's because he (Kitchens) has no belief we'll win," Chubb said.

Kitchens said of Wednesday’s practice, "I changed a play today to Roll Tide; he wouldn't even run the play, so I don't know. I had to come up with something; he wouldn't even bet me anything."
