Atlanta United defender Julian Gressel (24) is congratulated by Atlanta United midfielder Ezequiel Barco (8) after Julian Gressel (24) scored a goal assisted by Leandro Gonzalez (5) during the second half in a MLS soccer match Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Here are the results of my one-man weekly Power Poll, which only take into account the results and not potential:

1. LAFC (7-1-2)

Last week: 1.

Drew at Seattle 1-1.

Though a draw on the road is never a bad thing, these were dropped points for LAFC.

-

2. L.A. Galaxy (7-1-1)

Last week: 2.

Drew with Minnesota 0-0 and defeated Real Salt Lake 2-1.

Will Zlatan Ibrahimovic be suspended for going to Real Salt Lake’s locker room after the game? Huge implications for the team if he is, and for the league if he isn’t.

-

3. Houston (5-1-1)

Last week: 6.

Defeated Columbus 2-0.

-

4. Dallas (5-2-2)

Last week: 3.

Drawn by San Jose 0-0.

-

5. Seattle (5-1-3)

Last week: 4.

Drew with San Jose 2-2 and drew LAFC 1-1.

-

6. D.C. United (5-3-2)

Last week: 5.

Won at Columbus 1-0 and lost at Minnesota 2-1.

They are on top of the East, but the East is very, very weak right now.

-

7. Montreal (5-3-2)

Last week: 9.

Won at New England 3-0 and won at Chicago 1-0.

No team is doing more with less than Montreal.

-

8. Toronto (4-2-1)

Last week: 7.

Defeated by Portland 2-1.

Watched a good bit of this game while waiting on Atlanta United. Toronto is ponderously slow.

-

9. Philadelphia (4-3-2)

Last week: 8.

Draw at Vancouver 1-1.

-

10. Sporting KC (2-2-4)

Last week: 10.

Drew with New England 4-4.

-

11. Minnesota (4-3-2)

Last week: 13.

Drew at L.A. Galaxy 0-0 and defeated D.C. United 1-0.

You’re going to be the one that saves me…..

-

12. Columbus (4-5-1)

Last week: 11.

Defeated by D.C. United 1-0 and Houston 2-0.

Things are going wrong quickly for Caleb Porter and Co.

-

13. Orlando (3-3-3)

Last week: 14.

Draw at NYCFC 1-1.

-

14. NYCFC (2-1-6)

Last week: 17.

Defeated Chicago 1-0 and draw with Orlando 1-1.

-

15. Real Salt Lake (3-5-1)

Last week: 15.

Lost at L.A. Galaxy 2-1.

-

16. San Jose (2-5-2)

Last week: 18.

Drew at Seattle 2-2 and drew at Dallas 0-0.

Confidence is growing and that can be a season-changer after two very solid points picked up.

-

17. Portland (2-5-1)

Last week: 21.

Won at Toronto 2-1.

Two consecutive wins for the Timbers.

-

18. New York Red Bulls (2-4-2)

Last week: 22.

Defeated Cincinnati 1-0.

-

19. Atlanta United (2-3-2)

Last week: 23.

Defeated Colorado 1-0.

-

20. Cincinnati (2-5-2)

Last week: 15.

Lost at New York Red Bulls 1-0.

-

21. New England (2-6-2)

Last week: 19.

Defeated Montreal 3-0 and drew at Sporting KC 4-4.

-

22. Vancouver (1-5-3)

Last week: 20.

Draws with Philadelphia 1-1.

-

23. Chicago (2-4-3)

Last week: 16.

Lost at NYCFC 1-0 and defeated by Montreal 1-0.

-

24. Colorado (0-7-2)

Last week: 24.

Lost at Atlanta United 1-0.

I can’t believe that Anthony Hudson is still employed.
