George Bello and Eric Remedi trained with Atlanta United’s first team Tuesday.

Bello, a fullback, hasn’t played for Atlanta United since the season’s first game at Herediano in February. He sustained a groin injury in that game. He played 67 minutes for Atlanta United 2 on March 9. That was his last appearance in any game.

Remedi suffered a concussion in the first minute of the game at New England two weeks ago. He didn’t play Saturday in a 2-1 loss to Dallas at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. He has five MLS appearances for Atlanta United this season.

Atlanta United (1-3-2) will host Colorado (0-6-2) on Saturday.

Brek Shea has started most of the games in Bello’s absence. Shea has neither scored nor had an assist in league play.

Manager Frank de Boer has said that Bello likely would play with Atlanta United 2 before he plays for the senior team as he works his way back into game shape. Atlanta United 2 will host Tampa Bay Wednesday at Kennesaw State. Bello wasn’t among the five Atlanta United players who trained Tuesday with Atlanta United 2.  That group included goalkeeper Alec Kann, centerback Florentin Pogba, midfielders Andrew Carleton and Dion Periera and striker Romario Williams.

Kevin Kratz (calf) and Brandon Vazquez (knee) didn’t train with either team Tuesday.
