Justin Thomas has never been afraid to wear outfits that are a little outside the box. Whether it is the bright pants or fun shirts the 24-year old is always styling on the golf course.

On Thursday’s opening round of The Open Championship Thomas went throwback in England, rocking a cardigan, nice white button down and a loosely tied tie.

The attire didn’t affect his game. Thomas had a solid day on the links shooting 3-under, 67, but all anyone could talk about was the American’s outfit.

Fans hoping to see Thomas rock the outfit on Friday will be disappointed as the American said he was going to “save it,” Thomas told ESPN correspondent Leo Spall.

"I didn't come here to dress well," Thomas said. "I came to play some good golf … This is a golf shirt, so it's not like it's uncomfortable. It was just something I wanted to do this time."
