A packed house was on hand for the feature match of the evening Wednesday, with former Georgia Bulldog John Isner facing James Blake on the Stadium Court.

On Tuesday night, Isner and Blake teamed up in doubles action, winning their match, 6-4 and 6-2 in two sets.But on Wednesday night, it was every man for himself.

The first set between the two lasted 48 minutes, with Isner eventually winning 7-6(8). The second set went to Blake 7-6(3).

With the match tied, Blake and Isner battled back and forth through the third set. The match lasted 2 hours and 50 minutes, but for Isner, it was the final seconds that meant the most.

Isner beat Blake in the third set 7-5, walking off the court to a standing ovation from a crowd sprinkled with fans in Georgia red.

On Thursday, the doubles pair will team up again to face Alex Bogomolov Jr. and Matthew Ebden in the final match of the evening.
