Thrashers recall Dawes from AHL

The Thrashers recalled forward Nigel Dawes from AHL Chicago on Thursday. Dawes, who joined the team in Phoenix in time for the game against the Coyotes, has appeared in nine games with the Thrashers in two previous stints this season with one assist.

The Thrashers also placed forwards Fredrik Modin and Alexander Burmistrov on injured reserve. Modin (upper body) is retroactive to Feb. 7; Burmistrov (foot) is retroactive to Feb. 11.
