Photos: The 2022 AJC Super 11 team

Here's a look at the players on this year's Super 11 team, the newspaper's preseason list of the state's best high school players that debuted in 1985.

Caleb Downs, Mill Creek: The state's consensus No. 1 prospect and No. 11 overall nationally who has committed to Alabama. Region 8-7A’s defensive player of the year in 2021 when he had 77 tackles (57 solos), five interceptions and 11 pass breakups.

Kayin Lee, Cedar Grove: A top-200 national recruit, Lee is the highest-rated defensive back prospect in school history and has committed to Ohio State. Had two interceptions in Cedar Grove's state-championship win in 2021.

Connor Lew, Kennesaw Mountain: The 6-foot-3, 280-pound offensive lineman, who has committed to the University of Miami, is a four-year starter who made first-team Class 6A all-state last season.

Vic Burley, Warner Robins: The No. 3 player in Georgia and the No. 4 defensive lineman nationally in the 247Sports Composite rankings, Burley is Warner Robins’ highest-rated prospect this century. The reigning Class 5A defensive player of the year has committed to Clemson.

Keyjuan Brown, South Atlanta: Led Georgia in rushing last season with 2,757 yards and was first-team all-state in Class 2A. Brown has rushed for 4,770 yards and 53 touchdowns in his career.

Bo Hughley, Langston Hughes: First-team all-state the past two seasons, the 6-foot-7, 290-pound Hughley has committed to the University of Georgia.

Malachi Singleton, North Cobb: The state’s top-rated dual-threat quarterback, Singleton has led the Warriors to consecutive 10-2 finishes and region titles and made first-team all-state last season.

Justice Haynes, Buford: Top-five running back prospect nationally who has committed to Alabama. Haynes has rushed for 5,879 yards in three seasons, with at least 1,700 each year.

Kayden McDonald, North Gwinnett: First-team Class 7A all-state in 2021, McDonald is a consensus top-300 national recruit and the best interior defensive line prospect in school history.

C.J. Allen, Lamar County: No. 3 Georgia prospect overall and No. 3 senior linebacker nationally, Allen was a first-team all-state performer and Region 3-2A’s player of the year in 2021. Has committed to the University of Georgia.

Dylan Lonergan, Brookwood: A top-10 QB recruit nationally, the verbal commit to Alabama is the state’s top senior prospect at the position and likely the Broncos’ best quarterback in history.
