Patrick Callaway, an outside linebacker at Martin Luther King High School, said he signed with Delaware because it was a great opportunity.

He also appreciated that the Colonial Athletic Association is arguably the best FCS (formerly I-AA) football conference.

Had he not signed with the Blue Hens, he likely would have committed to play at William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. He liked the facilities there.

He said the most difficult thing about the recruiting process was trying to to sift through all the coaches trying to tell him why he should visit them.
