Milton boys soccer coach Mike Nova is wondering what might happen next.

The Eagles (6-7) have played nine one-goal games, winning four of those after Tuesday's 2-1 victory against West Forsyth. And Nova has had to move players around like chess pieces.

“This has been a very frustrating season,” Nova said in an email. “With a few exceptions, we have held our own with the best in Georgia, but between allergies and injuries, we have had trouble fielding a team that can produce wins.”

The Eagles recently lost Ouseman Ceesay to a broken leg. Midfielder Slade Gottlieb has battled ankle problems. Indiana signee Derek Creviston missed five games, and defender Keller Street missed time following an auto accident.

The Eagles get two weeks off before their next game, April 10 against No. 5 Wheeler.
