Chattahoochee won its first boys state soccer title Saturday night, shutting out visiting McIntosh (17-5-1) 3-0 in the Class AAAA finals.

Chris Ryan scored two goals for the Cougars (21-3-1), striking first with 18 minutes to go in the first half and next with 15 minutes left in the game.

Ammon Lakip put the third goal on the board with just two minutes left to play.

The Cougars’ shutout of McIntosh (17-5-1) meant the team kept opponents scoreless at home for the 2011 season.

Class AA

Westminster 2, Greater Atlanta Christian 1: Jack Kidd scored the game-winning goal on a header with seven minutes remaining to give Westminster (19-4) its ninth state title. The Wildcats took a1-0 second-half lead on Tyler Hilliard's penalty kick, and Greater Atlanta Christian (17-3) got a goal from Denzel Clarke to tie the game.

Class A

Walker 3, Providence Christian 1: Walker (12-7-2) won its second state title with three consecutive goals in the latter part of the first half to answer Matt McGlamery's opening goal for Providence Christian (16-6). Jacob Smith, Jackson Bentley (on a penalty kick) and Evan Kasian all found the net for the Wolverines.
