McGee, the starting quarterback for Carver of Columbus last season, also caught a 26-yard TD pass from Queen in the first quarter. North Cobb had three first-half turnovers and led only 7-6 at halftime despite leading in total yardage 266-99. Two-way starter Latrell Gibbs had six catches for 95 yards.
