Last week: Beat Grayson 35-0. North Gwinnett inflicted the worst margin of defeat in Grayson history, leading 35-0 in the third quarter and setting off a running clock. The Bulldogs scored on an interception return (Jaye Stackhouse), fumble return (Jacob McCoy) and two safeties (Avery Elford, Noah Lyman). Hayden Sphire was 13-of-25 passing for 136 yards. Last week: Beat Mundy's Mill 41-12. New starting QB Quantarius Neely, a sophomore, threw two first-half touchdowns, and RB Jeremiah Kirkland scored two touchdowns. Last week: Beat Lassiter 42-28. RB Taj Griffin (154 yards) and QB Ty Clemons (128) each went over 100 yards rushing for the second consecutive game. Lassiter, which entered ranked No. 8, was within 35-28 with 8:43 left, but McEachern scored on its next drive. Evan Shirreffs, younger brother of Bryant (who led Jefferson to a state title last season), was 23-of-33 passing for 292 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 51 yards and scored on a 46-yard run.
