Last week: Beat Kennesaw Mountain 41-7. McEachern took a 35-0 lead midway in the second quarter when Christian Ford returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown. QB Ty Clemons threw two TD passes and scored on a 71-yard run. Next: Friday at Campbell (2-3)
3. (3) Colquitt County (4-1)
Last week: Beat Lowndes 37-7. Colquitt County won at Lowndes’ Martin Stadium for the first time since 1994 and delivered Lowndes’ worst home loss since 1998. Colquitt County had 212 yards passing and 218 rushing, according to the Moultrie Observer. QB Daniel Mobley passed for 184 yards and led the team in rushing with 74 yards, which included a 31-yard TD run. Next: Friday vs. Tift County (4-1)
4. (4) Lovejoy (4-1)
Last week: Beat Druid Hills 59-0. Lovejoy’s starters played through one series in the second quarter and the Wildcats led 51-0 at halftime. Kevin Morris rushed for 110 yards on six carries and scored on a 56-yard run. QB Quintarius Neely threw three TD passes. Daney Atkins scored on the return of a blocked punt, and Preston Williams had a 63-yard punt return for a touchdown. Next: Friday at Rockdale County (4-1)
5. (5) Peachtree Ridge (5-0)
Last week: Beat Habersham Central 49-0. Jordan Ellis rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries. His 68-yard TD run in the first two minutes of the third quarter made it 42-0. Peachtree Ridge had 19 tackles for losses, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post. Next: Friday at Collins Hill (4-0)
6. (6) Camden County (4-1)
Last week: Beat Valdosta 14-10. Antonio Wimbush rushed for 60 yards, had five tackles and made the game-clinching interception. Kalvarez Bessent rushed for 74 yards on 13 carries. Camden, which didn’t complete a pass in the game, trailed 10-7 in the third quarter but took charge with an 80-yard drive. Alabama-committed HB/DB Chris Williams did not play for Camden. 7. (8) Hillgrove (4-0)
Last week: Beat Campbell 63-28. Hillgrove QB Elijah Ironside threw seven TD passes. He completed 24 of 36 attempts for 395 yards. Omar Black caught four of the TD passes and had six catches overall for 115 yards. Hillgrove’s 63 points are a school record. Next: Friday at Pebblebrook (2-3)
8. (9) Archer (5-0)
Last week: Beat Dacula 31-14. Archer took sole possession of first place in Region 8. Randy Nails rushed for 110 yards, and Gabe Tiller was 14-of-23 passing for 133 yards. Chad Bird intercepted two passes and returned the second one 64 yards for a touchdown and a 28-14 lead with 7:13 left. Next: Friday at Shiloh (3-2)
9. (NR) Milton (5-0)
Last week: Beat Wheeler 38-9. Micco Brisker, getting the bulk of the carries in place of injured preseason all-state RB Treyvon Paulk, rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. Austin McLeod was 9-of-13 passing for 93 yards and three touchdowns, two to Zack Spiezio. Wheeler opened the game with an 80-yard TD drive but was held to 128 yards in total offense from there. Milton is ranked for the first time since 1980. Next: Friday vs. Etowah (5-0)
10. (NR) Norcross (3-2)
Last week: Beat Mill Creek 27-13. Josh Boyd’s 59-yard TD run with 8:30 left in the third quarter gave Norcross the lead for good, and Norcross outscored Mill Creek 17-0 in the second half. Boyd finished with 112 yards rushing. QB A.J. Bush ran for 97 yards and was 12-of-20 passing for 90 yards. Next: Friday at Habersham Central (0-5)

Last week: Beat Lakeside of Atlanta 56-7. Tucker beat Lakeside for the 13th consecutive time and will enter the Oct. 11 game against undefeated Stephenson as one of three 4-0 teams in Region 6. Mays is the other. Next: Oct. 11 vs. Stephenson (5-0)

Last week: Beat Southwest DeKalb 35-7. Stephenson led 35-0 at halftime as Dallas Rivers scored three touchdowns and rushed for 81 yards on 11 carries. Next: Oct. 11 at Tucker (5-0)
3. (3) Northside-Warner Robins (4-0)
Last week: Beat Lakeside of Evans 54-26. Glenn Smith rushed for 227 yards and three touchdowns for Northside, and Willie Jordan had 119 yards rushing. It is the third time in four games that both have surpassed 100 yards rushing, according to the Macon Telegraph. Next: Friday vs. Houston County (3-1)
4. (4) Kell (5-0)
Last week: Beat North Springs 35-0. Darian Harris rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Kell led only 14-0 at halftime but scored three touchdowns in the third quarter. Next: Friday vs. Riverwood (3-2)

Last week: Beat Heritage of Conyers 48-7. Deshaun Watson threw six TD passes despite playing only one series in the second half. He completed 27 of 31 passes for 314 yards, according to the Gainesville Times. Next: Friday vs. Cedar Shoals (0-5)

Last week: Beat Windsor Forest 48-0. Ware led 48-0 at halftime, rushed for 336 yards and six touchdowns and returned a punt for a touchdown (Jarvis Belcher). Next: Friday vs. Glynn Academy (1-3)

Last week: Beat Mount Zion of Jonesboro 54-0. Creekside posted its first shutout of the season and is 5-0 for the first time since 2006. Next: Friday at Starr’s Mill (2-3)
10. (NR) South Paulding (4-0)
Last week: Beat Allatoona 48-45. Jae Bowen rushed for 179 yards and scored on a 2-yard run in overtime after Allatoona settled for a field goal. South Paulding trailed 28-14 at the half. South Paulding QB Chandler Burkes, committed to Kennesaw State, was 22-of-30 passing for 388 yards and four touchdowns. He rushed for 106 yards and scored two touchdowns. Allatoona’s Josh Bettistea, a member of GHSF Daily’s Player of the Year Watch, didn’t play in the second half because of injury. He rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. South Paulding coach Ed Koester was on the sidelines for only the second game this season after undergoing surgery to remove a tumor on Aug. 22. Next: Friday at North Paulding (4-1)

Last week: Beat Fayette County 54-19. The score was 12-12 in the first quarter, but Sandy Creek scored the next five touchdowns, three before halftime. QB Cole Garvin threw three TD passes. Next: Friday vs. Troup (2-2)
2. (2) Carrollton (4-0)
Last week: Beat Columbus 51-0. Carrollton allowed only 85 yards in total offense and four first downs. Trey Chivers scored on a 58-yard run (his only carry) and a 36-yard reception. Next: Friday vs. Fayette County (0-4)
3. (5) Griffin (5-0)
Last week: Beat Stockbridge 35-14. Griffin QB Jaquez Parks rushed for 189 yards and passed for 187, and Stockbridge was held to less than 100 yards in total offense. Griffin led 14-8 when coach Steve DeVoursney was ejected late in the first quarter. Griffin proceeded to drive 90 yards for a touchdown. Next: Saturday vs. Riverdale (2-3)

Last week: Beat Lanier 56-28. QB Stanton Truitt rushed for 277 yards and scored five touchdowns. Kwan Brooks rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. Lanier’s Devin Valentine had 161 yards receiving and 107 rushing and four touchdowns. Next: Oct. 11 at Stephens County (3-2)

Last week: Beat Richmond Academy 49-17. Malique Jackson threw five TD passes and completed 11 of 21 attempts for 222 yards. Krenwick Sanders had six catches for 172 yards and four touchdowns. Last week: Beat Fort Payne, Ala. 35-13. Grant Haley rushed for 141 yards on four carries, scored on a 99-yard run, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, intercepted a pass and returned a punt 29 yards. The Trojans scored the winning touchdown with 7:20 left in the third quarter on Michael Taylor’s 7-yard run. Taylor set up the score with a 79-yard pass to Markel Horne.
