Lorenzo Carter, Norcross

College choices: Carter has offers from most of the SEC and ACC schools, as well as many others, but Alabama, Florida and Georgia appear to be at the top of his list, according to 247Sports and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Michael Carvell.
2012 season wrap-up: Carter was a first-team all-state player for the Class AAAAAA championship team. He led Gwinnett County with 18 sacks and caused five fumbles. He finished with 12 total tackles, including five for losses, in the state championship game against Lovejoy.
School's first Super 11 since: Brice Butler in 2007
What's interesting: Norcross coach Keith Maloof says Carter is a better prospect out of high school than Adrian Hubbard, a former Norcross defensive end who plays at Alabama and is a top NFL draft prospect. As Hubbard did, Carter plays basketball in high school, but will focus on football in college.
Adam Choice, Thomas County Central

2012 season wrap-up: Choice was an honorable mention all-state player for a team that went 9-3 and reached the second round of the Class AAAAA playoffs. He rushed for 1,656 yards and 23 touchdowns and passed for 600 yards and five touchdowns. He is the No. 76 prospect nationally in the Rivals rankings, and Scout lists him as the No. 31 running back, his projected position in college.
School's first Super 11 since: Ray Drew in 2010
What's interesting: Choice is a cousin of Tashard Choice and a nephew of Joe Burns, two former Georgia Tech running backs who made it to the NFL. Choice projects to play running back at Clemson.
Nick Chubb, Cedartown

2012 season wrap-up: Chubb rushed for 2,721 yards and 38 touchdowns on 312 carries (8.7 yards per carry). He gained more yards in 10 games than any back in state history. His team finished 6-4 and failed to make the state playoffs. Chubb, the Class AAAA offensive player of the year, ran for more than 330 yards in five of 10 games and accounted for nearly 80 percent of his team's yards gained.
School's first Super 11 since: Ken Veal in 1997
What's interesting: Because of Cedartown's alleged weak schedule, college scouts didn't take Chubb's Nintendo-like statistics seriously until he dominated practices in December's RisingSeniors.com all-star game for the state's top juniors. In July, Chubb earned five-star status after he finished third out of 161 elite prospects in the SPARQ athletic competition at Nike headquarters.
Donquell Green, Burke County

College choices: Green has not selected a college. He has received offers from Georgia Tech and North Carolina of the ACC, as well as Georgia Southern, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Troy and others.
2012 season wrap-up: Green was named first-team all-state after leading the Bears to an 11-2 season and an appearance in the Class AAAA quarterfinals, where they lost to eventual champion Sandy Creek. Green rushed for 1,827 yards and 32 touchdowns on 177 carries (10.3 yards per carry) and was 86-for-132 passing for 1,399 yards and 11 touchdowns with two interceptions.
School's first Super 11 since: Mercedes Hamilton in 1992
What's interesting: Green, perhaps the state's most explosive player in the open field, had an early offer from North Carolina, but most colleges want to evaluate his senior film before moving forward. His high school production, which includes starring in a 2011 state championship-game victory, can't be disputed.
Demarre Kitt, Sandy Creek

2012 season wrap-up: Kitt had 74 receptions for 1,235 yards as Sandy Creek won the state championship for the third time in four seasons. He had 11 touchdowns receiving and returned a punt for another score. Kitt was named a Class AAAA first-team all-state player.
School's first Super 11 since: Calvin Johnson in 2003
What's interesting: Sandy Creek has become "Wide Receiver High" in Georgia with six of its graduates playing receiver in college. Kitt is considered the best from his school since Johnson, the former Georgia Tech receiver now in the NFL.
Cortez McDowell, Locust Grove

2012 season wrap-up: McDowell, a two-way starter, had 652 yards and eight touchdowns receiving and 250 yards and three touchdowns rushing for a team that was 6-4 in its fourth season of varsity football. He also intercepted two passes. ESPN ranks him as the nation's No. 13 safety in the Class of 2014.
School's first Super 11 since: McDaniel is the first.
What's interesting: McDowell will play football and baseball at Tennessee and could be drafted as an outfielder by a major league team.
Raekwon McMillan, Liberty County
Position: Linebacker

College choices: Ohio State and Alabama appear to be his leaders, but he also will visit Clemson, Florida and Georgia. He has more than 20 offers from across the country.
2012 season wrap-up: McMillan was a first-team all-state linebacker for a Liberty County team that posted a winning record (6-4) for only the fourth time in school history. He finished with 152 tackles, 22 tackles for losses, seven sacks, five forced fumbles, an interception and a touchdown. He also rushed for 316 yards and nine touchdowns.
School's first Super 11 since: McMillan is the first.
What's interesting: McMillan and Locust Grove's Cortez McDowell are the only players in this Super 11 who have never played in a state playoff game. Their teams' records are identical each of the past three seasons — 2-8, 2-8, 6-4.
Malkom Parrish, Brooks County
Position: Quarterback/cornerback

2012 season wrap-up: Parrish was an honorable-mention all-state selection after passing for 3,001 yards with 24 touchdowns and rushing for about 1,000 yards and 17 scores. He led Brooks County to the first 10-0 regular season in school history, including an upset of Valdosta and a trip to the Class AA quarterfinals. Parrish projects as a cornerback in college.
School's first Super 11 since: Marcus Stroud in 1995
What's interesting: Parrish picked Georgia over Georgia Tech in a rare head-to-head in-state battle. He was recruited by Georgia Tech primarily as a quarterback, but chose to go to Georgia as a cornerback — a position he has never played in a game.
Korie Rogers, Buford
Position: Outside linebacker

2012 season wrap-up: Rogers was the Class AAA defensive player of the year for a Buford team that won the state championship and allowed only 7.2 points per game. He had 91 tackles (12 for losses and seven others for sacks), intercepted four passes (returned one for a touchdown) and forced two fumbles. He also had 14 quarterback pressures.
School's first Super 11 since: Dillon Lee in 2011
What's interesting: Rogers grew up a fan of Georgia, but surprisingly picked Clemson over the Bulldogs in the spring. Clemson has commitments from four of the Super 11.
Deshaun Watson, Gainesville

2012 season wrap-up: Watson enters his senior season as the state record-holder for career passing yards and passing touchdowns. As a junior, he threw for 4,011 yards and 50 touchdowns and rushed for 1,430 yards and 24 touchdowns while leading the Red Elephants to their first state championship in school history.
School's first Super 11 since: A.J. Johnson in 2010
What's interesting: Watson is the state's best prospect at quarterback since former Westlake High School standout Cam Newton. He committed to Clemson when he was a sophomore. Watson averaged 12 points and four rebounds on Gainesville's basketball, the state runner-up last season to Miller Grove.
Kendarius Webster, Stockbridge
Position: Cornerback

College choices: Florida State and Mississippi appear to have a slight lead over Georgia and numerous other SEC and ACC schools, according to several recruiting websites.
2012 season wrap-up: Webster was a lock-down cornerback and a top receiver for a team that reached the state quarterfinals and recorded a school-best 11-2 record. The Tigers never allowed more than three touchdowns in a game.
School's first Super 11 since: Webster is the first.
What's interesting: Webster is one of the faster cornerbacks in the Southeast, recently posting a time of 4.4 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He finished fifth in the 100 meters at the state meet as a junior and anchored the state runner-up 4x100 relay team.
