The Hawks will be without Devin Harris for tonight’s game against the Knicks as the guard is in New York getting treatment on his ailing left foot.

Harris did not attend Wednesday’s shootaround in order to visit a team-approved physician for treatment of a toe of the foot. The visit was scheduled, according to team officials, and is with a New York City-based foot specialist Harris has seen on two other occasions this season.

Harris has missed 20 games this season, 19 due to the issue with his foot.

“We thought we would play it more safe than sorry,” Hawks coach Larry Drew said.

Harris is coming off a season-high 25-point performance in Monday’s win over the Cavaliers. He also had season-highs in minutes (43), field goals (8), field goals attempted (17) and free throws made (8).

The Hawks will also be without John Jenkins due to a mild concussion. The guard is getting closer to a return and was seen at the team’s shootaround but continues to be in the NBA’s concussion protocol.
