Woods selected by Pittsburgh in MLB draft

Bulldogs pitcher Jaden Woods was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates Monday in the seventh round of the 2023 Major League Baseball Draft.
The lefthander from Warner Robins had a 3-3 record with an earned-run average of 5.77 this past season. He made 10 starts for the Bulldogs in 2023, pitching 48 1/3 innings with 62 strikeouts and 25 walks.
