The national championship is officially underway.

Georgia won the toss and elected to defer.

Usual TCU starting running back Kendre Miller is injured, so look for Emari Demarcado to shoulder the load.

The Horned Frogs started the game with a false start, and they go three-and-out on their first possession (there was one scary moment for the Bulldogs, though, as quarterback Max Duggan misfired on what could have been a long pass play to wide receiver Quentin Johnston).
