High School football players who live in Florida, Georgia and Louisiana are more likely to be recruited by Division I schools, according to data released by the NCAA.

The NCAA posted a map representing the percentage of high school recruits recruited by Division I football programs in each state on Monday. Georgia was second on the list with 8.6 percent of high school football players being recruited by Division I programs.

Florida had the highest percentage of high school recruits recruited by Division I football programs 9.9 percent. Louisiana was third with 8.1 percent.

Lowest on the map was Vermont with 0.9 percent.
