In the trilogy matchup between Alabama and Clemson, it was the Crimson Tide who found the end zone first.

Late in the first quarter of the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans and with the Crimson Tide already leading 3-0, quarterback Jalen Hurts had the offense threatening to score again. Behind the sophomore signal-caller, Alabama moved down to the Tigers 12-yard line.

On a second-and-9, he evaded a couple of Clemson defensive lineman and rolled to his right. Just before he crossed the line of scrimmage he flicked the ball to wide receiver Calvin Ridley for the touchdown.
