Former Bulldog signs contract extension with Panthers

Georgia native and former Bulldog Thomas Davis signed a contract extension with the Carolina Panthers, according to the team's Twitter account and website on Tuesday.

Davis was the Panthers’ first-round draft pick back in 2006, and his new extension is through 2018.
