CHARLOTTE — Falcons nose tackle Paul Soliai, who was declared out on Friday, was among the list of the designated inactive players for today's game against the undefeated Carolina Panthers.

Cornerback Akeem King, safety Charles Godfrey, running back Terron Ward, center-guard Gino Gradkowski, tackle Bryce Harris and defensive end Malliciah Goodman were also inactive.

Carolina designated wide receiver Brenton Bersin, cornerback Charles Tillman, defensive end Ryan Delaire, running back Camerion Artis-Payne, defensive Dean Marlowe, wide receiver Kevin Norwood and running back Brandon Wegher as inactive.

In addition, former defensive end Stansly Maponga, who was on the practice squad, was signed by the New York Giants.
