Falcons wide receiver Roddy White, the team’s all-time leader, was declared out of the exhibition game against the New York Jets with an elbow ailment on Friday at MetLife Stadium.

White practiced all week and has not missed any time during training camp.

Before the start of training game, White revealed that he has to get his knee drained of fluids periodically.

White, whose children live in the New York area, was looking forward to the trip to play the Jets.

Leonard Hankerson, who was signed over the offseason after playing four seasons with the Washington Redskins, is expected to start for White.
