Here's what the Falcons were talking about after the 35-22 loss Sunday to the Buccaneers

CALVIN RIDLEY, wide receiver
On his thoughts on the game: "For me, they beat us. They just flat out beat us today."

On the disappointment of losing after having momentum the last two games: "We want to win all the games. Like we always say, we want to win every game. It was a tough loss game today, but there was nothing we could do, we was defeated today."

On what Tampa Bay was doing to win the game: "They played a good game, that's all I can say."

On having a short week going into the next game: "We got a short week. Today is over with now; we have to worry about the Saints on Thursday, so I'll be past this by tonight."

On what was lacking for losing the game: "They played pretty good, they had a pretty good scheme. We really couldn't do much. Like I said they played good."

QADREE OLLISON, running back
On what went wrong against Tampa Bay: "I think we started off well. We just have to finish and find a way to finish — whether it is in the second half or second quarter. I feel like we came out and threw the first punch really fast and had a great opening drive that got us a field goal. We just have to find ways to keep swinging. We will go back to the drawing board tomorrow and get ready for New Orleans on Thursday."

On whether this loss is harder because it snapped a winning streak: "Any kind of loss hurts, especially when it is a division loss. We felt like we had a lot of momentum going and we just can't let this loss crumble us. We have to regroup and come back stronger next week. Anytime you lose it is tough, especially when it is a divisional game because all of those games count."

On the quick turnaround for next week's game: "I think so. Especially being at home in front of our crowd on Thursday night. We will watch the tape tomorrow and get ready for New Orleans. We will be ready."

KALEB MCGARY, right tackle
On dealing with the frustration of a loss after having success in the last two games: "It's frustrating trying to adjust. We got behind so we kind of starting getting back on our heels, falling behind; and when that happens you're constantly trying to adjust, and its just crappy man; its frustrating."

On whether this game is a step backward: "Of course, losing is always a step down from winning. It's unacceptable, and we just didn't play good enough today straight up. They were the better team today, but this is absolutely not what we're capable of. We've shown what we are a much better team than this, and we just didn't show up with our fastball today for whatever reason."

On the quick turn around with another game four days away: "Come to rock and roll in the morning, that's about what I got. This will be my first Sunday to Thursday, so we're going to find out."

JAMON BROWN, right guard
On what Tampa Bay was doing: "They were not doing anything special. You have to tip your hat to them, that's a good football team we played today. Unfortunately, we did not make the plays we needed to with our offensive line, didn't do a good job protecting our quarterbacks. This is definitely something we will take a look at moving forward for Thursday."

On the short turnaround for the next game: "You just keep the same approach. At the end of the day today it did not work out like we wanted it to. That had nothing to do with the week of work. I think as a team we approach the week the right way, and unfortunately, we did not put it all together. So, going into next week you don't reinvent the wheel. All we'll do is take a look at the mistakes we made today and learn from it and grow from it and be ready on Thursday."

On the quarterback sacks: "You don't really know until you can look at it. At the end of the day in pass protection, it takes all or nothing. It is not just the five big guys that are blocking upfront. Unfortunately, that is just how it looks when your quarterback is hit or sacked. It takes the quarterbacks being on time and receivers being open and obviously offensive line protecting. I think today we were not in sync like we normally are and that is what led to those quarterback hits and quarterback sacks. It will be something we cleanup for sure."

On what he says to Matt Ryan after a game like this: "I mean it sucks. You always want to apologize when it is your guy. You definitely try to make sure you don't want to pick him off the ground dusting him off whatever you need to do, but when it happens like that a lot of times you can fall apart and start to point the fingers and start to argue amongst one another but we didn't do that which is tough. In those kind of situations where things aren't going your way. You just apologize to him and pick him up and try to make sure it doesn't happen again."

ISAIAH OLIVER, cornerback
On the success of Chris Godwin: "They were able to pick apart the zone on his two big plays. On his first touchdown, he did a good job of getting into the zone and Jameis [Winston] threw him a good ball. We kind of missed some tackles on him. He just did a good job of finding the holes in the zone and he knew the coverages we were in and he knew where to sit and Jameis [Winston] found him."

On the defense's play this game compared to the past two: "We definitely had too many mistakes early on in the second quarter which let them get that lead. We were kind of just shooting ourselves in the foot with the tackling especially. I think that was a poor tackling game for the back end especially. It just wasn't the brand of football we played the past two weeks."

On miscommunication causing Tampa Bay's big plays: "Communication is always going to be a factor — especially when you are playing zone coverage on where to be. We just have to detail it more, work on it, and get better at it before we come back on Thursday."

On whether the performance of the defense was shocking: "Yeah, you could say that. Every team in the NFL is going to be good, regardless of what their record says or who the personnel is. There is a bunch of NFL players and they always are going to give their best week in and week out. Jameis [Winston] is a great quarterback and he has a lot of offensive weapons. They [Tampa Bay] have always been a good offense as long as he [Winston] has been there. We just made too many mistakes on our end that let them get that lead and let it get away from us on our end."

DESMOND TRUFANT, cornerback
On Chris Godwin's big game: "He did a good job of finding the holes in the zone, and that's just how it goes sometimes. We just have to bounce back from it."

On how the defense played today in comparison to during their win streak: "We just didn't make the plays that we've been making. We were in a position to, but we just didn't make the plays, and that's just ball sometimes. We still played solid. I just feel like we gave them too much early in the game. We were kind of in the hole and couldn't recover, but that's ball and we've got to keep pushing."

On whether the Bucs tried some new looks with Godwin today: "Not really, like I said they were just executing, and he did a good job of finding the holes [in the zone]. That's what he did a real good job of so you just have to tip your hat to them, they went out there today and took it from us."

On what this loss does to their momentum going forward: "I mean it's frustrating. We know the position that we're in, and every game is crucial at this point, but they just played better than us today. We just have to learn from it and bounce back next week."

GRADY JARRETT, defensive tackle
On the lack of pressure up front today: "We didn't get a sack today but guys were working hard upfront. We just weren't able to finish there aren't any excuses for that."

On team morale after the winning streak has been snapped: "It's unfortunate to get the L today, but that's not going to stop us from grinding to get better as a team. So we have to go back and make adjustments because we have to see this team again."

On preparing to play on Thursday on short rest: "It's something that you can't control, the league controls that. Complaining about it won't change anything, so you have to look at it as an opportunity to play on Thanksgiving and put on a good show for a lot of fans."

On whether playing Thursday helps forget about today's loss faster: "I mean whether we play Thursday or Sunday, That doesn't make a difference."
