Here’s what the Falcons had to say after the 26-24 loss to Seattle:

WR JULIO JONES

(On the final play targeting him…) "It was fourth down. Matt (Ryan) just threw the ball up and gave me an opportunity to make a play on the ball. We desperately needed it. First of all to get the first down and potentially to get a field goal."

(On if he feels that he was interfered with on that play…) "I do. Before I took off he grabbed my right side and spun me around before I jumped up. It was just a missed call. It's over with. It's done, we are on the next right now."

(On the successful third quarter…) "Offense was just clicking. Everybody settled down. Everybody was anxious to play, you know we have been out here for a week. It's good though, we had a tough matchup today, everybody's ready to show what they have. Nothing about them, just more on us, just settling down and going out there and playing football."

(On his touchdown…) "I was in the slot and it was a seam ball. Earl (Thomas) was playing the middle of the field and Matt (Ryan) took advantage of it and threw a good ball."

(On the Seahawks interception that he tipped up…) "The type of guy I am, I can make those plays and I should make those plays. It happens, it's just football. We just have to get the next one, continue to get the next one, don't hold your head about anything, just be out there for your brothers and always get the next one,"

(On Matt Ryan and his toughness…) "He was kind of getting hit after the play a lot today, but he kept getting up, resiliency. That's what we preach around here. We aren't going to lay down, we aren't going to stay on the ground. We are going to pick each other up."

(On how they were able to confuse the Seahawks defense in the second half…) "We just took advantage of it. DQ (Coach Dan Quinn) had the same defense here. We kind of knew what we could exploit in some of the areas, kind of confuse guys and that's what we did in the third quarter."

(On if this game played out the way he expected it to…) "It was good, we didn't play as well as we needed to in the first half, but we came out in the second half and played the kind of ball we are capable of playing. We just have to clean up the first half. They are a great football team, and they were the better team today."

(On the physicality of the game…) "It wasn't that physical. We run and hit here. No one is going to out-hit us or be more physical than us. We set that standard at kickoff."

S RICARDO ALLEN

(On Seahawks' effort…) "They played hard. You have to give it to them. They came up with it today. We played hard just like them, but when it counted at the end, they played just a little bit harder."

(On the second half and playing from behind…) "You can't start off like that and hope to come back on a really good team. You just can't put your team in a bind like that. You can't come out sluggish in the first half and expect to play a full game. We have to keep working, we have to keep pushing because you saw in the second half we came out fighting, we came out working, but we were so far behind in the first half."

(On what the Falcons did to improve in the second half…) "Just the small plays, just the small plays here and there. A third down stop here, a first catch there. With them, you have to be really detailed and you can't give them anything extra. Once they catch the ball, you have to get them down right then. Once you see the quarterback scramble, you have to get on your guys. He (Russell Wilson) is really good at extending plays and he was good at eliminating negative plays. "

(On if he saw anything unusual from the Seahawks…) "No. They came out and did what they do. They play their ball and they play their ball to the best of their ability and they don't change anything for anybody."

CB DESMOND TRUFANT

(On if he felt there was pass interference on the last play…) "I have to look at it again. You know, its bang-bang plays and it could go either way, so we just have to roll with it."

(On what he could learn from a close loss like this…) "That we are a very resilient group. We aren't going to quit, we are going to finish the game. I respect how we fought back because we weren't playing that great in the first have and we came back in the second half. We definitely can take a lot of good things from this, but overall we just have to close the game out."

(On his sack of Russell Wilson…) "He didn't see me, so I just ran up on him. Hopefully they might blitz me a little more from now on."

(On playing in his hometown again…) "It was definitely great. Great environment, my people got to see me play for the first time in like four years. It was cool, definitely grateful for this opportunity."

T RYAN SCHRAEDER

(On seeing their lead slip away late…) "It's tough. It's football, man. I mean, a couple plays didn't go our way. We have been on the positive side of a lot of plays this year, so we just have to stick to the grindstone. We know what we can do, and we will just come back out next week and we will be ready to go on Sunday."

(On how the offensive line were able to improve throughout the game…) "I think we just needed to settle down. Our communication was off in the first half. Things weren't very smooth for us. We got together and we have a lot of leaders on the offensive line and we just said, 'We are going to come back out and give them a fight."

DT RA’SHEDE HAGERMAN

(On how the blocked extra point in the fourth quarter transpired…) "We just penetrated the guard and the tackle and we were able to get our hands up, and the ball was deflected by me. It was just a team effort. We got good penetration to block that PAT."

(On if the defense used any special strategy on that play…) "No. We just wanted to get as much penetration as we can and just get our hands up. It's pretty simple. But you know how rare it is to block an extra point. But it played our way and we were able to block it."

(On which hand hit the ball…) "Right hand."

(On the feeling the block produced…) "It was a good feeling. That's real good for a defense. Everybody was hyped on the sideline, the fact that we gave an opportunity for the offense to get the ball again, that's all you can ask for."

(On if the team felt that was a big momentum swing in its favor…) "We felt the fact that we blocked the PAT, it's going to put us in a good position and give our offense the ball. At the end of the day, we can only learn from our mistakes and get better."
